Carrie Underwood - screechy
The band 'floated' along the length of the arena on a section of the stage, and took the performance to the far off parts of the center. It was impressive how four of them did this.
At times, the band sounded like a wall of noise, which was too busy. The worst part was As December Falls' voice often screechy / distorted, not sure if it's just her voice type and singing style or poor sound management. It hurt the ears often.
Overall, it was a good concert with many familiar songs from over the years. They probably missed a few of the Blown Away songs because she wanted to include so many of the old faves. I would not recommend the event for this reason. I expect good sound for the price of the ticket. I also have a beef with the fact that parking rates were raised for the event (compared to normal events), which I think is price gouging that's rampant everywhere and not cool at all.
